Dogs for Adoption or Sponsorship

We are a NEVER KILL rescue with up to 204 dog- beds, always running at or near capacity. We are NOT a "network" or a "virtual" rescue. We take in any surrender regardless of pedigree, medical or behavioral problems, illness or injury. We pay rent for our kennel, utilities, 200 lbs. of dog food per day, custodial employee wages, vet bills for 200 dogs and most importantly provide a safe, warm, environment for life, if necessary.

Adorable cutie Cha- cha.

Hi everybody my name is Peaches. Last Sunday my mother met the nice people from Chihuahua Rescue in a parking lot to give me up. You see, I am a puppy and need special attention so I don't get hurt. My mommy said she accidentally dropped me on the cement floor in our garage where I used to sleep at night, but we are not sure how my knee got shattered in four (yes, four) separate places. She said there were a lot of people around and there was a lot of commotion and I was probably just in the way. She did take me to a vet but she couldn't afford the proper treatment to fix my knee and so she tried to fix it herself. After about a week she decided the best thing for me would be to turn me in somewhere. Luckily, I ended up at Chihuahua Rescue. So far I have had all of the necessary treatment and because Chihuahua Rescue is a nonprofit organization that survives solely on donations, I am hoping that some nice people can help with my bill. Oh. One more thing. Please come visit me at Chihuahua Rescue because this picture does not do justice. I am quite the beauty in person. Once I get my cast off I will be available for adoption. Even though I have a cast on, that does not stop me from giving lots of kisses. So please come down and let me know you saw me on the website (you'll get more kisses for that)!
